Chaplains Prayer

Eternal Gā€‘d,

We, the chaplains, humbly acknowledege that we have been blessed with the duty of serving Your children in their times of need. When we are called upon to step forward, we pray that You will give us the wisdom and the strength to ease their pain, lighten their suffering, alleviate their anguish and calm their fears.

May we be worthy to work beside the officers of the uniformed services as they strive with courage to provide protection, rescue and relief to all the people of our nation.

For the sake of all humanity, who have been created in Your image, may we merit by our deeds to bring honour and glory to Your holy name.
